Business increase is a product of high sales volume. The profitability or otherwise of a business is a function of her capacity to create and sell products. Create the need for your product or service.Â
 Some people who dont buy simply don't know why they should buy. They are often unaware of the product and the problem it helps them solve. By Highlighting the problem in question and how it affects the prospect,it will help them acknowledge there is an existential problem they need to take care of.Â
Declare what the solution is
It is not enough to just highlight the problem they have. It is important you tell them what the solution is as well. It is a good way to build a case for what your product or service offers. The essence is to get them aware of both the problem and the solution before introducing your product or service.
Tell them why and how your product is the best option.
How will your product solve their problems? How will it make their life easier? Why is your product or service different and better than others? What is your unique selling proposition? Clearly itemizing all those helps you build conviction in the prospect.
Create the need for urgency
What will the prospect miss if he didnt buy now? Conviction may not always be enough to close the deal. A prospective customer could be full of conviction and still walk away. Your real job is to close the deal now . You have to take the responsibility of closing the deal by creating a sense of urgency in the prospect's mind. One good way to do that is by making the prospect see what he stands to miss if they don't buy now. For example, missing out on a current bonus or discount. The list is endless.
Get feedback
Part of the gains of selling is feedback.You get first hand experience with unhappy customers who are your biggest partners. They point you to the areas that require your urgent attention or improvement. For the most part, unhappy customers are willing to stay with you if their concerns are adequately addressed. Without feedback mistakes or inadequacies take root and multiply. When the Customer loses patience he takes a walk. You know what that means to your bottom line when customers decide to take their money somewhere else.
Ask for referral
After closing the deal thank him or her for patronizing you but don't walk home yet, ask for a referral. Let the client refer you to his friends,colleagues or relations who are likely to need your product too.  This is much easier if the client is impressed with your product or service.
