Inadequate rest is one of the prevalent issues that pose a major health threat to the modern man especially because of the mounting rigor associated with the demands at work and sometimes home. The resulting high level of stress is what has been classified by medical scientists as a major reason for most cases of sleep disorder. Some of the dangers that could be easily traced to inadequate rest include:

MOOD DISORDER


A single night of inadequate rest or sleep deprivation may make one irritable, stressed,moody, inability to concentrate, feelings of headache and general unwellness.  Cummulatively or chronic state of poor sleep is linked to depression, mental exhaustion, psychosis, paranoia and hallucination.

HARD-TO-TREAT-HYPERTENSION
